Whirligig Pattern

The "Whirligig" Quilt is built on a single pattern piece. an equilateral triangle, cut from width of fabric strips with a 60 degree ruler. Stacck the triangles in vertical rows and sew the rows together, simple as that! No "Y" seams, no hand piecing, no multiple mirror image pieces, just chain-pieced straight seams!
Fabric requirements: 6 solid, blender or tonal fabrics. A light, medium, and dark of each plus a background.
Finished size is 40"x45"
