Woven Ribbon Star
Learn to make a 30" x 30" pieced top using a Quiltworx Woven Ribbon Star pattern. This class is a wonderful advanced beginner project that comes together quickly. Best of all the assembly requires no 'Y' seams! It would make a great wall hanging, or table topper. This pattern is also fat-eighth and fat-quarter friendly, feel free to be creative with your fabric choices and use up that stash!
In this class we will focus on creating the blocks needed using many of the techniques found in Quiltworx patterns. Techniques include: foundation paper piecing, stacking and organization, "smart corners," floating points, strip piecing, straight piecing, and a six-point spun seam for a flat quilt center. Replacement papers for this pattern are also available if you wish to make more.
