Scout
This quilt will lend itself to many sizes and shapes; you could make it a Crib or Throw (per the pattern) or as a bed runner, table runner, wall hanging, or a large beach tote. Fat quarters are NOT recommended as Width of Fabric strips are used - unless you really want it to be scrappy. You'll be creating 'strata' and then cutting pieces at a 45˚ angle to create the herringbone effect. Since strips of fabric are inserted between each of the columns as they are stitched together you won't need to be concerned about matching seams!
