This little bag has a surprisingly large capacity! There are three zippered pockets and four open pockets that can hold all the sewing tools you’ll ever need. Great for carrying to classes and retreats! Or maybe use it as a make-up bag. Are you into making hexagons? You can carry your prepared fabric, your templates, and completed hexies, as well as your scissors, thread, and any other supplies you need. You could even sneak in a little chocolate to make your stitching more enjoyable! |
| Requirements: | Sew Together Bag Supply list: Pattern available from “Sew Demented” on Craftsy or Etsy ($12). Additional construction materials provided in class for $10. Fabric: Exterior: 1 fat quarter Lining: 1/2 yard Pocket lining: 1/3 yard Binding: 1 fat quarter 1/2 yard lightweight fusible interfacing 20” zipper* Three 12” zippers* Rulers: 6” x 12” 6” x 24” Zipper foot, if you have one, not necessary Usual quilting/sewing tools: Sewing machine, cord, pedal, instruction book Neutral color thread for the project** Seam ripper Scissors Straight pins or clips Extra sewing machine needles Marking pen/pencils Rotary cutter (extra blades) Cutting mat *Zippers can be longer, 14” and 22” or more, which is what I prefer **You may want to bring threads to match your zippers/fabrics for inside pockets Kathy Marlowe kathy.marlowe@gmail.com (make sure you put the “e” in Marlowe) 360-989-5326 Feel free to contact me if you have questions before or after class.
